NOTES:

The After Party has created a leveled workshop track with a few extra features.

Levels:

Foundation = All Dancers from Newcomers to Teachers. We ask that our instructors teach less quantity in these classes, but go way more in depth.  So new-comers learn one or two things well and more advanced dancers or teachers get to hear that instructor’s concepts on technique to a deep level.

Level 1 =  Beginner & Novice Dancers – Not an intro to WCS Class.  Should have some WCS knowledge.

Level 2= High Level Novice and Intermediate Level Dancers.

Level 3 = Advanced, All-Star, and Champs.  aka come get your butt kicked!

TAP TRAINING RULES:

PLEASE LEAVE YOUR EGOS OUTSIDE THE DOOR AND BE MOTIVATED TO TRAIN HARD!

We recommend staying within your WCS dance level based on WSDC points. However, lower level dancers are free to “EXPERIENCE” any of the higher-level classes.  If you do not compete and do not know what level you belong but believe that you might be higher than a level 1, take a level two class and ask the instructor to monitor your level and take that instructor’s guidance after class in good faith.  Please treat our instructors kindly and with the respect that they deserve at being the very best in their field!

EXPERIENCE = Bring a partner/friend with you to class and place yourselves in the corner out of rotation. Refrain from asking questions or disrupting rotation.  Please do not pull leveled dancers out of rotation even if they do not have a partner at that moment.  We’d like to create two different learning experiences with’in one class.  The dancers that are qualified for that classes’ respective level will be in general rotation and are there to “Take” the class, i.e., rotate and ask questions.  Those who are not qualified, but still would like to “Experience” a class, can do so out of rotation with a set partner.  We hope this system will make everyone happy and fulfilled!
